Rider Support

Event is fully-ish supported by volunteers. Routes will be marked in addition to cue sheets. Restroom facilities at every stop. Five rest-stops lightly stocked but count on water and Gatorade, fruit, and energy bars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO HAVE BREAKFAST BEFORE THE EVENT.

SAG Support

One SAG vehicle will sweep the North course (towards airport) and one the South course (towards Dumbarton). One-time sweep. Call the following numbers to be taken to the nearest rest-stop. SAG vehicles are NOT mechanics nor medics; can only offer air pump or transport. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

"Hot enough for ya?" – be prepared for the heat:

  • Sunscreen (including scalp)
  • Plenty of fluids with electrolytes
  • Look for the small cans of V8
  • Look for the salty snacks
  • Put ice in your water bottle at the rest-stops

Clothing too hot? Drop in your reusable packet bag at Oyster Pt, Clubhouse, or Dumbarton rest-stops. Mark with bib AND PHONE #. Pick up clothing at 2800 post-ride. Note: Clothing may arrive as late as 4pm. And at your own risk!

Rider Safety

All riders must wear a helmet. If by chance you forgot yours, don’t worry. Will be able to borrow a sweaty one.

RIDERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO FOLLOW ALL TRAFFIC LAWS. BE ADVISED — RIDING WITH TWO EARBUDS IN IS AGAINST THE LAW.
